AREAS OF PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE
The addition of Mr. Regensdorf to Mediation Firm, Inc., brings a lawyer with broad – and deep -- professional experience that is almost unique in this era of hyper-specialization. His litigation experience spans four decades and includes hundreds of civil cases in virtually every field possible, on both sides of the fence: personal injury cases of every type [medical and other professional liability claims, products liability including medical devices and vaccines, premises liability, automobile and other vehicles, negligent security, nursing home liability], commercial litigation of all kinds, real estate and probate litigation, shareholder/partnership disputes, contract claims of every stripe, banking and financial institution matters [including foreclosures], first and third party insurance disputes and coverage issues, employment litigation, construction cases, public records and access cases, constitutional litigation, public utility litigation, legal malpractice litigation.
Mr. Regensdorf has also personally been lead trial counsel in numerous complex jury [and non-jury] trials in which the factual and legal issues developed in the above matters have been put to the test. He knows trial risks and costs first hand.
He has also been lead counsel on hundreds of appellate and other review proceedings in every state appellate court and in three federal circuits. He knows what happens when cases don’t settle.
Lastly, he has worked with lawyers, judges, and justices statewide for many years on a variety of Bar Rules Committees, which has given him a “big picture” view of the issues and risks that arise in the mediation of disputes in Florida. His solution-finding skills are tailor-made for the mediation arena.
