EXPERIENCE
Ms. Nicholson has a strong civil litigation background and received her certification as a Board Certified Civil Trial attorney in 1984.
She was a partner with Lane, Mitchell and Harris, P.A., specializing in admiralty and maritime law, products liability, commercial litigation and general tort claims.
Managing attorney for America International Group, with offices in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale.
Since early 1989 Ms. Nicholson has been a full-time Mediator mediating over 9000 cases in South Florida and throughout the State, both within the court programs and as the selected mediator in voluntary mediation.
In addition to the 80 hours of basic Mediation Certification training for Civil Circuit Mediations, Ms. Nicholson has completed over 75 hours of advanced mediation training.
As a frequent speaker on Mediation, Ms. Nicholson has made presentations to the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, The Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute, Indiana Trail Lawyers Association, Professional Seminars, Inc., The Dade County Bar Association and the United States Attorney's Office, among others.
