Born in Fort Lauderdale and raised in Hollywood, Florida, Anita graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s Degree and joined the workforce in the area of marketing and television media. Fourteen years later, she attended the Shepard Broad Law Center of Nova Southeastern University where she was a member of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. Upon graduation, having had two children during law school, she joined her father, August Paoli. There Anita gained experience in a variety of areas, especially those types of cases that her father no longer wished to handle, including divorces, mortgage foreclosures and landlord/tenant evictions. She practiced with her father until his debilitating stroke in 2001. She continued to carry the practice and care for her father in her home, along with the help of her physician husband. August Paoli passed away in June of 2007. Anita is the current president of The South Broward Bar Association for 2010 to 2011 and has been a board member of this organization since its revival a few years ago. She serves as a board member of the Advisory Board of the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University Alumni Board. She is currently completing her 2005 - 2011 term on The Florida Bar Probate Rules Committee.

The current areas of practice for which Anita’s law firm provides legal services are primarily: Wills, Trusts, Guardianships - including Guardianship Advocacies for handicapped minors attaining majority status, and transactional residential and commercial real estate. She is a title agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company issued through Attorneys’ Title Fund Services, LLC, having been an agent for Attorneys’ Title for 20 years. Anita past law practice experience included: divorces, pre and post nuptial agreements, corporations, LLC’s, mortgage foreclosures and landlord tenant issues.
